The Alternate World. Chapter 1Sgt Frog: Alternate World
It was a dark, homely night at the Hinata household. Everyone and their friends had turned up to spend the holiday together. A certain green frog sat in his room, playing with his Gundam models. Tamama ate candy. Giroro cleaned his guns. Kululu was...doing...whatever he does, and Dororo meditated.
"Ugh! I'm bored!" Keroro whined. Giroro glared at him.
"You think that's a big problem?! I'm still thinking what I'm getting for Natsumi!" Giroro growled.
"Uh, Mr. Sarge sir, maybe you should try this candy," Tamama told him, "It makes me feel better."
"I don't want candy! I want more models!" Keroro yelled. Giroro stood up.
"And I can't take this anymore!" He stomped out of the room, walking back to the living room.
"Hi Giroro!" A familiar voice said, "What are you doing up here?" Natsumi Hinata asked.
"Uh-Uh, i was b-bored," Giroro stuttered.
"Ok, just try to look happy alright? It's Christmas Eve for crying out loud," Natsumi walked away. Giroro snapped
Her CatalystAs she walks through the maelstrom, the words trace upon the tips of her fingers and press into the stone. Every brick, every crack in the concrete, every crossed and angular stroke in reds and blacks and oranges. The drips of the gasoline pool around the base of her boots, slosh as she steps over the burst pipes and the rubble.
So much rubble. So little outcry. The silence of the city grates on her eardrums and the mantras she'd been forced to memorize. The Seers demanded they observe thirteen years of recitation before they attempt to weave their first World together.
But who other than the Seers can claim the incantations that knot the skeins they twist and pull on like reins hold fast? When have any of the Sisters recorded the visions they traced upon space-time and recited them, left them open for critique and discussion and debate?
